Zeta

I have enjoyed playing around with cljrs and seeing what’s possible to do with it. The latest thing I’ve tried is a website that lets you play around with the Riemann Zeta function. It’s a beautiful, intriguing function to play around with, because it very likely has deep connections to how primes work, and it’s like seeing the tip of the iceberg of mathematical truth, one we only barely understand.

On the technical side it’s fun because not only is it interactive—you can make something similar with JavaScript alone—but this also gives you a full REPL to play around arbitrarily. Browser memory seems like the biggest challenge right now, any larger demo you try will likely crash the tab. There might be some better optimizations we can do to improve this. In the meantime, it’s fun. Go find some zeros!
